Trước đây khá lâu rồi, hồi c̣n nhỏ nhỏ, quyển truyện Những người khốn khổ đă có ít nhất 5 lần được đọc, tới giờ được xem phim, thấy những h́nh ảnh và nhớ lại, nhiều cảm xúc quá.
Mai hoàn thành bản 1080 sẽ tổ chức xem lại lần nữa. Cảm ơn nhóm dịch đă chổng đủ thứ lên để cho mọi người được thưởng thức một tác phẩm tuyệt vời. Chuyển tải được nội dung bài hát sang tiếng Việt, điều không hề dễ dàng.

I DREAM A DREAM
Ḿnh biết tới câu truyện NHỮNG NGƯỜI KHỐN KHỔ lần đầu tiên là trong chương tŕnh Ngữ Văn cấp 3, với trích đoạn Người Cầm Quyền Khôi Phục Quyền Uy. Phải nói thật lúc đó thấy nó chán vô tận, chả hiểu đầu cua tai nheo đă đùng đùng bắt nhảy xổ vô học, nên nó cũng chỉ đi qua tai này rồi lọt qua tai kia, đọng lại vài điều như cái tên "Victor Hugo", "đây là tác phẩm lớn vĩ đại"... và hết. Chả cỏn ǵ!
Nhưng cho tới cuối năm ngoái th́ mọi chuyện lại đổi khác. Ḿnh vốn mê nàng Anne Hathaway và phim nào có nàng là tự động con mắt nó dán vô, và Les Misérables cũng không là ngoại lệ. Chưa kể thể loại phim ca nhạc - nhạc kịch vốn là thứ ḿnh say mê từ bé qua các phim hoạt h́nh của Disney và các chương tŕnh Ngày Xửa Ngày Xưa. Và bài hát "I dreamed a dream" th́ đă quá quen thuộc qua giọng ca của Susan Boyle. Cho nên phim này nghiễm nhiên lọt vào danh sách phải-coi-cho-bằng-được!
Nhưng hỡi ôi, người tính không bằng trời tính. Lúc phim sắp sửa chiếu th́ ḿnh phải nhập viện v́ sốt xuất huyết,. Thân nằm bệnh viện mà đầu th́ cứ "tôi mơ một giấc mơ". Nhưng trong cái rủi cũng có cái may. Bệnh sớm lành và được cho về nhà ăn cho mập thây lại ( v́ bị sụt 8kg). Tới ngày thứ ba nằm một đống ở nhà là không chịu nổi nữa liền gọi ngay cho thằng bạn thân hẹn sáng mai đi coi Les Mis. Và phim quả không làm ḿnh thất vọng, diễn xuất tuyệt vời, nhạc hay từ đấu tới cuối, hào hùng, bi tráng, xót xa, hân hoan đủ cả. Coi xong cả rạp vỗ tay rào rào bắt khoái lỗ tai. Nhưng vẫn c̣n chút ǵ đó vướng bận trong ḷng. Bởi v́ đây là phim nhạc kịch, chỉ ngồi đọc nội dung th́ đâu thể thoả măn, phải hát theo nữa chứ!
Và ngày hôm nay, 5 năm sau khi biết tới tác phẩm, 4 năm sau khi nghe I Dreamed A Dream, 3 tháng sau khi xem phim ở rạp, 2 tháng ch́m đắm trong các bài ca, và 1 tuần sau khi bắt đầu nhận dịch, ḿnh mơ một giấc mơ và giấc mơ đó đă hoàn thành!!

Lời cảm ơn cũng vài điều về việc dịch và phổ lời
Đầu tiên xin gửi lời cảm ơn sâu sắc nhất đến hai người bạn dịch @SoiNon @Venus Caster. Không có họ th́ không thể hoàn thành với thời gian eo hẹp đến vậy. Tiếp đến xin cảm ơn @nomad, @Littleturle, @Sangeras v́ đă góp ư để hoàn thiện các bài hát hơn. Đặc biệt xin cảm ơn hai bạn Minh Nguyệt (I dreamed a dream) và Nguyễn Mỹ Linh (Do you hear the people sing) , v́ ḿnh đă sử dụng và biên tập bản dịch của hai bạn.
Và cuối cùng xin gửi ḷng biết ơn tất cả các bạn đă chịu khó đợi chờ tới ngày hôm nay để xem phim với phụ đề này. Các bạn chính là nguồn động lực không nhỏ để chúng ḿnh có thể đi tiếp với đam mê.

Phụ đề này không giống với các phụ đề thông thường khác v́ các bạn sẽ không chỉ hiểu nghĩa mà các bạn c̣n có thể hát theo. Đó chính là lí do khiến việc dịch lần này mất thời gian đến thế. Tuy vậy vẫn c̣n nhiều chỗ chưa hài ḷng, v́ việc phổ lời đôi chỗ buộc người dịch phải chọn giữa vần điệu hát được hoặc sát nghĩa. Đây là một công việc tỉ mỉ, khó khăn và tốn nhiều công sức, cùng với quỹ thời gian eo hẹp. Nên nếu có sai sót ǵ mong các bạn đừng trách cứ và hăy cùng đóng góp để hoàn thiện phụ đề hơn.
Mong các bạn tiếp tục ủng hộ forum và các bạn dịch giả khác nói chung, cá nhân ḿnh nói riêng để chúng ḿnh có thể tiếp tục bước trên con đường chông gai này!
