Mới xem xong, phim và sub đều hay lắm. Coi xong đă quá phải google để xem về Tu chính, Civil War với cả Reconstruction. Cảnh mấy ông nghị chửi nhau, nghe đă lỗ tai. Thích nhất một đoạn tranh luận của Lincoln và Thaddeus Stevens. Thaddeus Stevens là người ủng hộ tuyệt đối b́nh đẳng sắc tộc, ông bảo đại khái là bọn chống b́nh đẳng sắc tộc là lũ ngu dốt, như cái la bàn không biết chỉ về cực bắc. Lincoln bảo với Thaddeus Stevens là ông ấy th́ giống như cái la bàn chỉ biết về cực bắc, mà ko biết là trên đường đi có bao nhiêu đầm lầy, vũng nước. Cứ đi thẳng 1 đường về cực bắc th́ chẳng bao giờ tới nơi. Bởi vậy phim này có thể tóm tắt là (theo lời của một nhân vật trong phim, chỉ nhớ đại khái, ko chính xác): "Một bước tiến vĩ đại về tự do, được thực hiện bằng những phương pháp đáng xấu hổ, bởi người liêm khiết nhất nước Mỹ."
Thích có phim nào về Civil War mà có giải thích kỹ về chiến lược tấn công của quân miền Bắc và miền Nam ấy. Nhưng chắc là ko có, chỉ có phim tài liệu th́ may ra.
