Jackie là một luật sư khá thành công được một nhà máy hóa học thuê để bào chữa chống lại những cáo buộc về tác nhân gây ô nhiễm môi trường phát sinh từ nhà máy. Công ty này muốn mua đứt hồ cá của cô Diệp, tránh những lời tố cáo rằng công ty này đang sản xuất chất cấm. Jackie nhờ đến Luke, bạn thân của mình để lừa gạt tình cảm của cô DIệp hòng thuận lợi hơn cho việc mua lại hồ cá.
Nhưng khi đối mặt với anh là nữ luật sư trẻ xinh đẹp Nancy Lee được cô Diệp thuê, Jackie cảm thấy nghi ngờ chính bản thân khi tham gia vào vụ kiện vô đạo đức này. Anh cùng Luke và một người bạn khác tên Timothy tìm cách đột nhập vào nhà máy để lấy chứng cớ tố cáo công ty nọ.
