Thor, truyện Thor: The Dark World Prelude
Thor mau chóng đưa Loki cùng Tesseract về Asgard mà không đến gặp Jane Foster. Cô đau khổ nghĩ rằng Thor đă quên ḿnh, nhưng thật ra Thor có lư do mới gấp rút quay về. Với sức mạnh của Tesseract, cầu Bifrost đă được hồi phục, và Thor nhanh chóng đưa quân tới hỗ trợ các cơi giới đă thiếu vắng sự bảo vệ của Asgard quá lâu. Frigga cầu xin cho Loki nên hắn được tha mạng, nhưng bị giam vào ngục tối.
Stark sửa chữa lại Stark Tower và bảo với Rhodey rằng ḿnh cần phải có sự pḥng bị tốt hơn trong tương lai. Stark bắt đầu chế tạo hàng loạt bộ giáp với công dụng khác nhau.
Phim ngắn Item 47 kể về một cặp đôi t́m thấy một vũ khí của bọn Chitauri bỏ lại và ṃ được cách sử dụng nó, đem đi cướp ngân hàng. Đặc vụ Sitwell bắt được cả hai và đưa về làm đặc vụ S.H.I.E.L.D.
Fun fact và Easter Egg:
- Tony Stark mặc áo có chữ Sabbath trên tàu bay. Sabbath là ban nhạc nổi tiếng với bài Iron Man.
- Loài Chitauri thực ra là từ Ultimate Universe của Marvel, khjông phải từ vũ trụ gốc (Earth 616)
- Life Model Decoy: khi Coulson tới gặp Stark. Stark vờ như ḿnh là một robot thế thân (Life Model Decoy). Trong truyện, đây là thứ mà các đặc vụ S.H.I.E.L.D. hay dùng để thoát thân.
- Khi Coulson rời khỏi Stark Tower, để lại một đống hồ sơ, trong đó có Dự án 42. Trong truyện, Dự án 42 hoặc Nhà tù 42 là nơi nhóm Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic giam giữ các anh hùng kháng chiến trong Civil War (cái này siêu nhỏ, xem phim đúng là không thấy nổi).
- Có hai con quạ xuất hiện lúc Thor chất vấn Loki ở giữa phim. Hai con quạ vốn là Huginn và Munnin giúp Odin theo dơi chuyện ở chín cơi giới (trong phim không xác nhận hai con quạ là của Odin).
- Tiếng của Hulk là từ Lou Ferrigno, người đóng Hulk trong phim truyền h́nh trước đây.
- Lúc Bruce Banner/Hulk rớt xuống đất, một ông già đến hỏi: “Are you alien?”. Diễn viên đóng phim này là Harry Dean Stanton, từng đóng phim Alien.
- Tony Stark nhại giọng tiếng Anh cổ kiểu Shakespeare khi gặp Thor (Doth Mother know you wear-eth her drapes?). Đây chính là kiểu dùng trong comics Thor, nhưng khi vào phim đă đổi lại cho người Asgard nói tiếng Anh b́nh thường.
- Trả lời cho một câu hỏi hay gặp: “Tại sao Banner biết t́m đến New York?”. Thực ra trước khi Hawkeye tấn công, Banner đă định vị được Tesseract và kịp nh́n thấy vị trí, trước khi thiết bị của anh bị nổ.
- Trả lời cho một câu hỏi khác: "Tại sao Cap không có micro, dây nghe mà vẫn liên lạc được?". Mời xem Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. và Black Widow Strikes.
- Trả lời cho một câu hỏi khác: "Tại sao Thor không gọi sét liên tục để đánh mà chỉ gọi một lần?". V́ trước đó Thor đă bị Loki đâm (có thể băng thứ có phép thuật) nên bị yếu.
- Một trong những tấm thẻ sưu tầm của Coulson được Fury quăng ra để khích lệ Cap chính là b́a truyện Captain America #1 ngoài đời.
- Các bộ giáp mà Iron Man dùng là Mark VI và Mark VII.
- Stan Lee xuất hiện trong vai một ông lăo hay tin về Avengers và bảo: “Siêu anh hùng ở New York? Thôi đi.” Một cảnh (đă bị cắt) khác của Stan Lee là khích lệ Steve Rogers tán tỉnh cô bồi bàn.
- Tháp Stark rớt hết chữ, c̣n mỗi chữ A => Avengers Tower (giống truyện tranh)
- The Other nói với Thanos: “Đối mặt với chúng là quyến rũ Tử thần”. Trong truyện tranh, Thanos yêu Mistress Death, hiện thân của cái chết. Hắn giết nửa vũ trụ để bày tỏ t́nh yêu với nàng
B́nh luận: Khá nhiều các đoạn cắt cảnh của The Avengers diễn ra theo kiểu nối kết. Sau đây là ba ví dụ:
- Ở cảnh trước, Nick Fury nói với Hội đồng: “Ta cần những chiến binh”. Ngay sau là cảnh Cap, Siêu chiến binh.
- Ở cảnh trước, Cap nói: “Đáng lẽ các ông nên để nó (Tesseract) lại đáy biển.” Ngay sau là cảnh Iron Man đang làm việc dưới đáy biển.
- Ở cảnh trước, Thor đang đứng suy ngẫm. Có giọng nói: “Anh rơi từ trên trời xuống.” rồi chuyển sang cảnh ông già nói chuyện với Banner (mới rớt xuống). Thực ra Thor cũng là người rơi từ trên trời xuống.
