Phim xem hay mà tơi tả doanh thu nhỉ, đầu tư 195m$, tổng doanh thu toàn cầu 197m$, hòa vốn thôi mới buồn. Kĩ xảo xem rất thích mà nhỉ, hay là vì nội dung không có gì phức tạp với cả thời điểm phát hành đầu năm nên doanh thu kém nhỉ?

Lúc sáng, vừa down phim vừa đọc comment của mọi người, thấy đa phần là chê.... chê tơi tả.
Thế nên đã chuẩn bị sẵn tâm lý để coi một bộ phim không-được-hay rồi. Tối xem xong, hóa ra mình lo lắng công cốc. 
Mọi người thường ko chú ý đến thể loại phim, hoặc có mong đợi quá nhiều trong một bộ phim, là phải có thế này, phải có thế kia, nên cứ có nhận xét ko khách quan tí nào. Với một bộ phim chuyển thể từ chuyện cổ tích, pha viễn tưởng, phiêu lưu, dành cho cả trẻ em lẫn người lớn thì chuyện phim mang tính giải trí cao, và ko có nội dung phức tạp, ko đề cập đến nhiều vấn đề có "tầm cao", và ko có ý nghĩa quá sâu sắc, chắc có lẽ cũng là bình thường thôi nhỉ.
Mình chỉ nhận xét trên khía cạnh là một bộ phim đúng với "tầm vóc" của nó, thì thấy là cốt truyện khá hay chứ ko phải là dở, có nhiều tình tiết hấp dẫn, kỹ xảo cũng ấn tượng, nhiều đoạn đối thoại hài hước. Diễn viên thì công nhận ko có gì nổi trội so với mặt bằng các phim có trai xinh-gái đẹp khác, nhưng diễn xuất thì ko tệ chút nào (ít ra, những diễn viên ko bề ngoài thì chắc kỹ năng diễn xuất của họ phải "đỉnh", mới được đạo diễn mời đảm nhận vai chính chứ nhỉ
), mình nghĩ là họ cũng rất hợp với vai diễn nữa. 
Nói cho cùng Jack the Giant Slayer là một bộ phim ko phải hàng xuất sắc, nhưng coi rất được, một bộ phim mang tính giải trí cao mà ko nên bỏ qua.

Xem xong tối qua, thể loại cổ tích giải trí hài hước không đòi hỏi được nhiều
đoạn đầu đúng xem chả có gì nổi bật, nhưng bắt đầu có cây đậu leo lên chỗ bọn khổng lồ mới bắt đầu hấp dẫn, khá ấn tượng với tạo hình bọn khổng lồ, có lẽ vì hậu kỳ kỹ xảo nên phim bị rời lại hẳn nửa năm.
Đánh đấm, công thành cũng được, bắn tên, ném cây, 2 bên thi kéo co
Cho 7/10
Phim thất bại về mặt doanh thu do nó chiếu trứoc Oz chỉ đúng 1 tuần, làm sao cạnh tranh nổi cùng thể loại, có lẽ đây là phim mà WB bị lỗ nặng nhất trong năm nay.Game đang thẩm : Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Grim Dawn, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
