Bản dịch này quá tuyệt rồi. Các bác trán của PDV vs GVN mà được dịch bộ TLOTR thì còn gì bằng. Đợt rồi mua quyển 1 của Nhã Nam tiếc tiền quá :-(

Theo lý giải của người dịch thì chính gia đình tác giả bắt phải dịch tên riêng theo phong cách như vậy (Bao Gai, Thun Đáy Khe...), bằng một xấp tài liệu quy định cách dịch. Chứ mình nghĩ chằng ai rảnh đi Việt hóa mấy từ đó, để nguyên dịch nhanh hơn nhiều.

Ừ, anh cũng chỉ dịch được sang lục bát với thơ tám chữ tự do vì nó tương đối đơn giản, ít gò bó. Còn các thể loại Đường luật thì tìm hiểu luật bằng trắc và cách gieo vần của nó đã thấy nản rồi. Originally Posted by HorusTr4n

Trong bộ LLoTR mình luôn ấn tượng nhất về nhân vật Gollum . Giọng nói, cử chỉ, ánh mắt đều rất cuốn hút...
Trong The Hobbit cũng vậy. Tuy nhân vật này xuất hiện rất ít nhưng để lại ấn tượng rất mạnh.
"Gollum là một sinh vật đáng thương".
Hy vọng sau The Hobbit sẽ có một phần riêng nói về Gollum.

mình thấy cách dịch của SN là chuẩn và hay lắm rồi, không thích cách Việt Hoá của NN tí nào. Đồng ý Việt Hoá là giúp người đọc dễ hiểu hơn, nhưng đã làm thì làm cho trót vì những từ mà họ Việt Hoá nghe rất kỳ và còn nhiều từ mình đọc không biết họ đang viết gì luôn, VD như: Thung Đáy Khe, Đại Mạch Bơ Gai, Sắc Vãi Bao Gai (cái j cũng dùng gai cho được), Bướu Ú, Cu Thộn Ngố, Nịt Chặt Quần.....Nếu Việt Hoá nghe hay thì không ai nói gì đằng này... Nó chỉ là cái guide để giúp cho dễ dịch nếu cần, không phải bắt buột. Vì lúc trước bản dịch của Thuỵ Điển đã khiến Tolkien tức giận khi họ dịch hết tất cả các danh từ riêng, tên riêng tuy nhiên họ đã dịch sai và làm phá vỡ hệ thống tên mà ông đã tạo ra. Cuối cùng Tolkien quyết định viết cái "Guide to the Names in The Lord of the Rings" để giúp đỡ phần nào trong việc dịch thôi.Last edited by gdqt; 03-03-2013 at 04:41 PM.
