Phim kể về Will - một gã tội phạm được thả tự do sau vụ án cướp 10 triệu đô nhưng không thành. Sau khi ra tù, Will Montgomery (vai diễn của Nicolas Cage) quyết tâm “cải tà quy chính” và đoàn tụ với cô con gái Alison Loeb (do Sami Gayle thủ vai) vốn đã xa cách nhiều năm. Tuy nhiên, Vincent (do Josh Lucas đóng) đồng bọn cũ của Montgomery nghi ngờ anh đã kịp cất giấu 10 triệu USD trước khi bị bắt nên bắt cóc Alison để đe dọa Montgomery và đòi lại số tiền. Cuộc chạy đua của siêu trộm bắt đầu, 12 tiếng đồng hồ vỏn vẹn, 10 triệu USD tiền chuột và đứa con gái đang bị bắt cóc và đe dọa tính mạng.
Mang thông điệp cảm động về tình phụ tử, bộ phim vừa khởi chiếu tại Bắc Mỹ hôm 16/9 thực sự lôi cuốn khán giá với những pha hành động mạo hiểm hấp dẫn đến nghẹt thở cùng với những tình huống diễn biến hết sức nhanh chóng.
Stolen là bộ phim hành động gay cấn với những tình huống ly kỳ đánh dấu sự tái hợp giữa đạo diễn Simon West (vừa gây ấn tượng mạnh với bộ phim hành động The Expendables 2) và ngôi sao hành động Nicolas Cage (từng đạt giải Oscar cho nam diễn viên chính xuất sắc nhất) từ sau bộ phim bom tấn Con Air năm 1997.
Phim còn có sự tham gia của Josh Lucas, Danny Huston, Malin Akerman, Sami Gayle, Mark Valley và M.C. Gainey… sẽ có mặt tại Việt Nam vào ngày 28/9 với tên Cướp siêu hạng.
