Nội dung: Được chuyển thể từ vở nhạc kịch cùng tên, Rock of Ages là tác phẩm mới nhất của đạo diễn Adam Shankman. Phim có sự tham gia của dàn diễn viên gồm Tom Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta Jones, Russell Brand, Malin Akerman. Diego Boneta và Julianne Hough là hai ngôi sao trẻ đảm nhiệm vai chính. Lấy bối cảnh Hollywood năm 1987, Rock of Ages được làm với mục đích tôn vinh nhạc rock & roll và gợi lại thời kỳ hoàng kim của các rocker.
Phim kể về Sherrie (Julianne Hough), một nàng “gái quê” từ Oklahoma tới Los Angeles t́m kiếm cơ hội trở thành ngôi sao. Tại đường Sunset Strip, Sherrie đă gặp gỡ anh chàng bồi bàn mê rock, Drew (Diego Boneta). T́nh yêu giữa họ chớm nở cùng những giai điệu âm nhạc. Cả hai gắn bó và cùng làm việc trong quán bar The Bourbon Room. Một ngày, rocker danh tiếng nhất lúc bấy giờ là Stacee Jaxx (Tom Cruise) và ban nhạc Arsenal của anh tới The Bourbon Room biểu diễn lần cuối cùng trước khi Stacee tách ra solo. Người dịch: Phim này nhiều (2000 lines), toàn là lời bài hát nên chắc ko dịch nhanh được. T5 thi xong sẽ làm, đầu tuần sau hy vọng có. Phim ra lâu rồi nhưng ko có ai nhận cả nên khỏi "đặt gạch". Gạch dành để ném chỗ khác.
