Some tidbits:

It takes place in the year 2024.
The film is dark and violent.
Logan’s powers are fading.
Logan drives a futuristic Chrysler 300 limo.
Professor X is old, not well and has unstable powers.
Stephen Merchant allegedly plays “Albino mutant Caliban,” who helps Logan take care of Professor X
…it should be noted that Tómas Lemarquis played Caliban in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, so it’ll be interesting to see if this is just an older version or an entirely new version of the character.

Basic Plot:

“In 2024, mutant births are severely in decline, and people aren’t sure why. We find out about a government-type operation called “Transigen” that is turning mutant children into killing machines. Logan ends up mentoring the girl, who has two claws instead of his three.”

That’s basically a direct description of Laura Kinney aka X-23, who is Wolverine’s clone and successor.
