Không chỉ dành riêng cho những ai mê tṛ chơi 'Đột kích', bộ phim độc lập của hai đạo diễn Mike McCoy và Scott Waugh c̣n thu hút bởi dàn diễn viên chính đều là những người lính thực sự và đang ở trong quân ngũ.
Phim quy tụ 9 người lính thực sự tham gia vào đội đặc nhiệm Navy SEAL. Họ sử dụng chính tên thật ngoài đời và ở những cảnh xuất hiện đầu tiên, lư lịch cũng như tính cách của họ đều được giới thiệu tới người xem. Chính sự xuất hiện của những người lính thật đă góp phần tạo nên sự chân thực tuyệt đối cho bộ phim.
Bên cạnh dàn diễn viên là những lính thủy đánh bộ thực sự, Act of Valor c̣n có sự tham gia của người đẹp Puerto Rico - Roselyn Sanchez - trong vai tṛ khách mời. Mặc dù chỉ xuất hiện rất ít, vai diễn nữ điệp viên CIA Morales của cô để lại khá nhiều ấn tượng với những cảnh quay bị bọn khủng bố tra tấn dă man. Roselyn Sanchez là ngôi sao duy nhất trong bộ phim này.

Mềnh dạo này thích đánh du kích lắm đấy. Mấy phim sau mà không đặt gạch nhanh th́ coi chừng bị KS đế.
