Kokowääh? Kokowääh là cái gì? Đấy cũng chính là một điều mà bé gái Magdalena (Emma Tiger Schweiger) cũng đả hỏi người ba của mình. Kokowääh trong tiếng pháp có nghĩa là Coq au vin, là một món ăn mà dịch ra tiếng việt là: Gà sốt rượu vang. Đây cũng chính là món ăn duy nhất mà cha của Magdalena có thể nấu ngon nhất.
Henry (Til Schweiger) một nhà viết kịch bản phim gặp rất nhiều đen đuổi trong tình yêu kể từ khi bị người yêu của mình bỏ rơi, một hôm, anh nhận được một lời mời cực kỳ hấp dẫn từ nữ nhà viết kịch bản nổi tiếng tại Berlin để cùng nhau viết kịch bản cho một bộ phim được chuyển thể từ cuốn tiểu thuyết của ấy. Cô cũng chính là người yêu cũ của anh và là tình yêu lớn nhất của anh Katharina (Jasmin Gerat).
Trong khi Henry đang vui mừng và mong rằng sẽ có được cơ hội thứ hai quay lại với người mình yêu thì đột nhiên một bé gái 8 tuổi lại xuất hiện trước cửa nhà anh với một lá thư nói rằng: cô bé tên là Magdalena (Emma Tiger Schweiger) và là con gái ruột thịt của anh. Anh không còn tin vào mắt mình nữa khi biết được đây chính là hậu quả từ chuyện tình một đêm của anh với cô bạn thân cùng thời đại học. Vào một tình thế buộc anh phải trông nom cô bé trong khi Charlotte (Meret Becker) là mẹ của cô bé phải ra tòa vì một vụ kiện oan tại New York. Bên cạnh đó, Henry cũng có cùng một cảm giác với Tristan (Samuel Finzi) là người cha của cô bé trong vòng 8 năm cho đến khi biết được sự thật rằng đứa con gái mình xem là con ruột mình 8 năm qua lại không phải là con mình.
Kể từ đây, trách nhiệm làm một người cha không hề là một chuyện đơn giản, những vụ việc rối rắm, những câu hỏi khó trả lời từ một cô gái 8 tuổi và cách chăm sóc bé gái của một người đàn ông không hề thích trẻ em xen kẽ các tình huống hài hước giữa 2 cha con trong khi anh viết một cuốn sách về cuộc đời của mình và muốn có lại được tình yêu với người anh yêu.
Nói chung, đây thực sự là một bộ phim hài, có nội dung và sẽ càng hay hơn nếu ta có thể ngồi sum vầy, quây quần bên gia đình vào những ngày cuối tuần và cùng nhau thưởng thức bộ phim thì chỉ có thể nói là quá tuyệt. Ko biết có phải do cả hai diễn viên chính vì ngoài đời là hai con nên khi nhập phim cũng thực sự rất đạt. Mình ở đây cực kỳ thích bé Magdalena ở sự ngây thơ, dễ thương và ở những câu hỏi làm những người lớn phải đâu đầu vì độ hóc búa và hại não của nó.
