P/S: Đây là một phim rất hay. Trong 3 phim cổ trang dă sử của Ridley Scott là Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven và Robin Hood th́ ḿnh thích nhất phim này. Phong cách làm phim cổ trang của Ridley Scott là "cải biên sự kiện lịch sử, nhưng rất chính xác về tinh thần của giai đoạn lịch sử đó". Bộ phim có cái nh́n rất khách quan về cuộc Thập tự chinh, đặc biệt là mô tả sự phi nghĩa của quân Thập tự Thiên chúa giáo, đối lập lại với sự anh minh, chính trực của Saladin, vị vua Hồi giáo, cùng với nó là những cảnh quay rất hoành tráng, gần như phim Troy vậy. Phim này cũng là phim gần đúng với lịch sử nhất của Ridley Scott (2 phim Gladiator và Robin Hood gần như là fiction từ đầu đến cuối). Đây cũng là 1 phim có ư nghĩa khá đặc biệt với ḿnh, v́ đây là phim đầu tiên ḿnh xem ở rạp.

Kingdom of Heaven coi đi coi lại vẫn rất hay, mềnh xem phải đến hơn chục lần, phim gần như hoàn hảo mọi mặt
đáng tiếc các năm gần đây Holywood không làm thể loại này, mong tương lai sẽ có những Vương quốc trên thiên đàng như thế này

H́, thực ra hồi đó, từ sau thành công của LOTR nên có cái trend là làm phim kiểu "epic" thế này. Từ sau The Dark Knight th́ có trend là làm phim kiểu "dark tone", từ sau Avatar th́ là xu thế 3D, c̣n bây giờ sau Avengers th́ có vẻ như đang có xu thế làm phim theo kiểu "assemble". P/S: Ḿnh rất thích h́nh ảnh của Julia Roberts trong phim này, một bà mẹ một ḿnh nuôi 3 con mà vẫn rất duyên dáng, thậm chí có phần sexy theo kiểu đời thường. Riêng ḿnh th́ thấy phim này Julia Roberts quyến rũ hơn cả trong bộ phim sau này đă trở thành biệt danh của cô là "Pretty Woman" (Người đàn bà đẹp). Diễn xuất của cô trong phim này rất tinh tế, lúc th́ rất quyết liệt, lúc lại rất mềm mỏng, t́nh cảm, lúc th́ miệng lưỡi khá điêu ngoa, có lúc lại vờ ơng ẹo để đạt mục đích. Tiếc là đă lâu rồi không thấy Julia Roberts có một vai diễn tốt như thế này nữa, thậm chí là có người c̣n gắn mác cho cô là "hết thời".

Nội dung: A Few Good Men nói về cuộc điều tra liên quan tới "Điều Lệ Đỏ" trong giới quân sự Mỹ. Khi lính thủy quân lục chiến Santiago bị giết trong doanh trai, nữ Thiếu tá JoAnne Galloway (Demi Moore) và Đại úy Daniel Kaffee (Tom Cruise) được chỉ định làm luật sư bào chữa cho 2 binh sĩ đă gây ra chuyện đó. Daniel Kaffee có một ông bố vĩ đại trong ngành tư pháp và có tài ăn nói, thế nhưng anh chỉ thích chơi bóng và làm việc tà tà, chỉ rành mỗi chiêu xin thỏa thuận giảm án. JoAnne Galloway là người tận tâm, nhưng khả năng bào chữa của cô có vấn đề. Cùng nhau, họ phải chống lại luật sư của bên nguyên là Đại úy Ross (Kevin Bacon), và vạch trần một bí mật của đơn vị Thủy quân Lục chiến tại vịnh Guantanamo do Đại tá Jessup (Jack Nicholson) chỉ huy.
