Sự độc đáo của Savages c̣n thể hiện ở những triết lư khá chân thực mà đạo diễn cài cắm trong câu chuyện. Ở những khoảnh khắc tưởng như căng thẳng nhất, khán giả cũng có thể dễ dàng bật cười bởi phần thoại đầy tinh tế và thông minh. Đoạn kết của bộ phim sẽ là một bất ngờ lớn với nhiều khán giả. So với những phim trước của Oliver Stone th́ Savages đă tiết chế đi sự nặng nề, khiến bộ phim trở nên dễ xem và mang tính giải trí cao hơn rất nhiều.
