Takumi, một người đàn ông một ḿnh nuôi nấng, chăm sóc cậu con trai 6t Yugi của ḿnh sau khi vợ anh là Mio đă qua đời. Trước khi chết Mio để lại cho con trai ḿnh một cuốn album ảnh trong đó có lời nhắn lại sau khi cô qua đời 1 năm, gia đ́nh họ sẽ lại đoàn tụ với nhau vào đầu mùa mưa. Cậu bé Yugi luôn giữ ǵn tập ảnh cẩn thận cùng với niềm hy vọng sẽ được gặp lại mẹ ḿnh.
Một năm sau, khi Takumi và Yugi đến thăm mộ của Mio vào 1 ngày mưa, họ đă gặp một cô gái có vẻ ngoài giống y đúc Mio, người mà cả 2 cha con đều mong gặp lại...
