Bølgen 2015 (Tên tiếng Anh: The Wave) dựa trên một thảm họa thiên nhiên từ 80 năm trước, khi một số làng ở Na Uy đă bị nhấn ch́m và hàng ngàn người bị nuốt chửng bởi một cơn sóng thần khổng lồ được tạo thành sau khi một sườn núi bất ngờ đổ sụp vào vịnh hẹp.

Một lần nữa, con người phải đối mặt với thiên nhiên dữ dội, chống chọi với con sóng thần cao 85 mét. Họ có 10 phút để chạy thoát khỏi tay tử thần. Giữa ranh giới sự sống và cái chết, t́nh cảm gia đ́nh thiêng liêng sẽ giúp họ sống sót khỏi cơn thịnh nộ của thiên nhiên? Bộ phim cho khán giả thấy được nghị lực và khát vọng được sống của con người dù rất mong manh nhưng lại không kém phần dữ dội và mănh liệt.
